Sharper focus – more fun!

Why is mixing all types of games together a problem? Hmmm, let’s see.

  • Firstly, the youngest players are confronted with inappropriate game screenshots, not to mention some of the ads apposed to them.
  • Secondly, the more experienced players (they often refer to themselves as teenagers) find the more simple games just too naive, somewhat “in their way” (understandably) and therefore regard them as anoying disturbance.
  • Thirdly, advertisers really, we mean really, want to actually know what type of person is sitting by the computer. Is it a youngster? A teenager? Perhaps a grown up person or a senior citizen? This is best demonstrated with Play a Bit’s first gamesite; Online Games For Seniors. Since it launch early 2009 (here is the original version), advertisers can be almost certain that there are only older people visiting that site regularly. The domain name itself, ensures that. Kids just don’t “digg” it :o)
